Magic received nine of its first 13 games at home last season, scoring 6-7 in that section. This part of the plan was by no means easy, as it included competitions against potential playoff teams in Toronto, Milwaukee, Denver, Indiana, Oklahoma City and Dallas. Four of these games (Milwaukee-Denver, Oklahoma City-Dallas) were back-to-back sets.
